The Aquamarine is the stone more appreciated and valued after the sapphire for its light blue luminos.
This precious stone is a variety of beryl, and so it is a "sister" of the Emerald. It owes its color to traces of iron in its crystal lattice.
Unlike from emerald, the aquamarine is characterized by the absence of inclusions, and its name is due to its color transparency congenital.
The greenish hues are less valuable, while the most sought after and rare are those that tend to heavenly saturated of color blue.
One of the stones with which it is frequently confused is the blue topaz, but the topaz has a more colore load, and not chemically similar.
The most significant deposits are those of Brazil, scattered in many parts of the country
